Will we need?

Not sure what I think about the idea that we'll have needs in the NHNE. Doesn't a sense of need imply a state of knowing you're without? I'm not saying I think we should be lazy bums lying around as the recipients of God's good gifts saying, "serve me, serve me". I just struggle with the idea that there will be increments of time when people will operate without their needs met. Thoughts?

  1. I don't know. I know that in this life, when I have a need that I know is going to be met (hunger, rain coat, etc.), I'm excited as the time when it will be met approaches. Yes, I'm hungry, but I'm on my way home and there's a big, delicious meal waiting for me. I'm not sure that is bad. So maybe that will be how it will be. Always knowing that the need will be met will cause an excitement that is always guaranteed. Maybe.

  2. What page/chapter are you refering to? And I like the NHNE abbrev. Kind of like texting. And I like what Tdub says, in fact I'm anticipating a trip to FL with my wife this weekend and it's almost as good as actually going....almost I said.

  3. She was referring to the middle paragraph on page 258, explaining the verses that talk about leaves of healing for the nations.
