It didn't happen. I just feel bad for the folks who sold everything counting on it happening. They must be ticked...or some strange feeling. Plus they're broke now.
We should be prapared, that's clearly Biblical. Jesus could come back today, tomorrow, two years from now, or more. But it's also true that our heart could stop beating for whatever reason today, tomorrow, two years from now, or longer. So, we should always be ready, but we can't stop obeying our Lord's command to work with all our hearts at the work He's given us to do, all the while making disciples as we go.
In fact, as I write this and think about those people who did things in preparation for last Saturday, it makes me think: Shouldn't we live like it's the end of the world AND live like we're going to be here until we're 100 all at the same time? Shouldn't they look the same?
